PARKING
Two driveway parking spaces available.
The garage is reserved for the golf cart. For parking additional vehicles, the HOA requires vehicles be parked in the gravel street spaces on the South side of the community.
Included is a 6 seater golf cart and 4 bicycles for your convenience. To drive golf cart, you must be: 25 years old, sign a liability waiver, and have valid insurance and drivers license. Golf Cart is included as an amenity, at no additional cost.

PROMINENCE AMENITIES
Prominence on 30A is centrally located and has a variety of on-site and close by amenities that make this community one of the most highly sought-after vacation destinations in 30A. This community features incredible amenities such as: 2 community pools, and a beautiful cabana area for grilling.

NEARBY BEACH ACCESS
-Deer Lake State Park (0.6 miles west of Prominence) is the nearest beach access. This park has great amenities including: restrooms, parking for golf carts/bikes/cars, and a beautiful walk along a boardwalk that winds through the natural dunes leading to the beach. The State Park charges a “Day Use Fee” of $3/car or $2/bikes or pedestrians for access and parking. Alcohol is not allowed as it is a State Park. It is a bit of a longer walk from parking area to the beach, but it’s a beautiful scenic walk on the long boardwalk with white sand dunes. The State Park Beach is less crowded than any public beach access points.
- Walton Dunes Beach Access (1.5 miles West of Prominence) has a small parking lot, but no bathrooms, and is located just west of the Deer Lake State Park boundary. This access has no steps-just walk straight onto the beach. One of our personal favorites!
-Gulf Lakes Estates is a South Walton County beach access (1 mile east of Prominence). Small access that can be easily missed. Parking not available but easy bike ride to the beach.
-Santa Clara is a public beach access located at Bramble Grove Place (about 3.5 miles). This access provides a lifeguard, parking and bathrooms as well as ADA access to the beach.
THE BIG CHILL (FORMERLY "THE HUB")
The community’s town center, called “The Big Chill,” includes restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater. The amphitheater includes a covered event pavilion and is a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn. This location is perfect for family outings! Be sure to catch the farmer's market here on Thursdays!
HOTSPOTS NEARBY
The location of Prominence is perfectly placed right in the middle of 30a. Popular spots are a short drive away: Seaside, Watercolor, & Seagrove Beach to the west; Alys Beach, Seacrest, and Rosemary Beach to the east.
Seaside is a short drive away and is most widely known for being featured in the Truman Show with Jim Carrey. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine and the incredible architecture. Seaside has its own Farmer's Market, post office, Repertory Theater and neighborhood school.
The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Grouper Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 970 feet out from the Inlet Beach access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Grouper Reef is at a depth of 12-21 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!
HOUSE RULES
*Check-In: After 4PM | Check-Out: Before 10AM
*Must be 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian that is staying on premises.
*No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited including porch
*No parties or events.
*Complimentary golf cart can only be operated by guests over 25 years of age who provide verification. Rental agreement requires a valid drivers license and proof of existing auto insurance coverage.
*During busier times and due to limited infrastructure, internet connectivity may be affected. No refunds will be given for connection issues no wifi, or slow wifi.
IMPORTANT PRIOR TO ARRIVAL
All guests will be required to sign a rental agreement, as well as provide a valid ID that matches with the name of the person that made the reservation which includes: 1) a photo of your government issued ID such as a driver’s license and 2) a "selfie". Both should be uploaded to our Happy Stays app.
