Prominence on 30A is centrally located and has a variety of on-site and close by amenities that make this community one of the most highly sought-after vacation destinations in 30A. This community features incredible amenities such as: 2 community pools, and a beautiful cabana area for grilling.
THE BIG CHILL (FORMERLY "THE HUB")
The community’s town center, called “The Big Chill,” includes restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater. The amphitheater includes a covered event pavilion and is a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn. This location is perfect for family outings! Be sure to catch the farmer's market here on Thursdays!

The location of Prominence is perfectly placed right in the middle of popular spots like Seaside and Seagrove Beach to the west and Alys Beach, Seacrest, and Rosemary Beach to the east.
Seaside is a short drive away and is most widely known for being featured in the Truman Show with Jim Carrey. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine and the incredible architecture. Seaside also has their own Framer's market!
NEARBY BEACH ACCESS
-Deer Lake State Park (0.6 miles west of Prominence) is the nearest beach access. This park has great amenities including: restrooms, parking for golf carts/bikes/cars, and a beautiful walk along a boardwalk that winds through the natural dunes leading to the beach. The State Park charges a “Day Use Fee” of $3/car or $2/bikes or pedestrians for access and parking. Alcohol is not allowed as it is a State Park. It is a bit of a longer walk from parking area to the beach, but it’s a beautiful scenic walk on the long boardwalk with white sand dunes. The State Park Beach is less crowded than any public beach access points.
-Walton Dunes Beach Access (1.5 miles West of Prominence) has a small parking lot, but no bathrooms, and is located just west of the Deer Lake State Park boundary. This access has no steps-just walk straight onto the beach. One of our personal favorites!
-Gulf Lakes Estates is a South Walton County beach access (1 mile east of Prominence). Small access that can be easily missed. Parking not available but easy bike ride to the beach.
-Santa Clara is a public beach access located at Bramble Grove Place (about 3.5 miles). This access provides a lifeguard, parking and bathrooms as well as ADA access to the beach.

*Must be 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian that is staying on premises.
*No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited including patio spaces.
*No parties or events.
*Complimentary golf cart can only be operated by guests over 25 years of age who provide verification. Rental agreement requires a valid drivers license and proof of existing auto insurance coverage.
*During busier times and due to limited infrastructure, internet connectivity may be affected. No refunds will be given for connection issues no wifi, or slow wifi.
*This home must remain pet free.
